For this fly in set piece I utilized image trace software to draft and CNC stencils. After carefully stamping in the design in a patterns the dimensions of the form was sculpted and enhanced with Trompe-l'œil.

Painted on black velour, this piece required sponge and spray techniques to portray a rigid rock scape in soft moonlight.

Aged brick and plaster hit center stage in this set piece. Layers of varying colors were applied with rag stamping. All the wood work was painted using rockers and glazes to marry it with the old studio feel.

Textured wrought iron, textured and spattered stone and painted ivy foliage come together in this set piece.

Bold marble with blacks, whites and greens. This piece captures the dark scene it appears in. sponged and raged base layers are finished with organic veining and sealed with a durable coat of clear.

This set features scumbled blues and greens on scrim, patterned with stencil work of themed print. The curtains were misted in peach and dunked in browns for an old world look.

Small Ball

Forced perspective is taken to a new level in this reimagined basketball court. Lines were plotted and snapped with chalk before being painted in with lining sticks. Dry brush technique created a distressed wood grain. then the decals were traced from stencils and filled with designated coloration. Carrying the illusion through the curvature of the ramp made for a fun a satisfying execution of a complicated design.

Sculptural elements, soft goods, and painting combines to express the dramatic scene of a plane wreck in the jungle. Spatter, spray, masking and sponging were all incorporated in the process of this set.

The Great Gatsby

Textured stucco and wood grain breath dimension into the surfaces of this set piece. Painted was applied vertically with rags and wet sponged away in places to pop the tooled jaxsan beneath. wood elements were painted in layers of rocker and dry brush approach to give variation as specified in the design.

Detailed line work in rich gold and trompe-l'œil elements dress the house of this theater. Fabric was meticulously squared to execute this regal piece with attention to detail.

Mummer Parade

Foam sculpture and expressive fur create the form of this yeti head. The facial features were created with use of a saw and hot knife. Bold colors align with the designers choice and allow this character to stand out on stage.
